Happy Labour Day!

Let's talk about some serious topic now...

How to build TRUST?

In workplace, Trust is something important especially for promotion, pay raise, important task...etc.
At home, trust is more important as family members acquire trust to build strong relationship.
In community, trust is the key for true friends, solid foundation for good relationship. Trust is the key for leadership.

Let's get to the point... What should we do in order to be trustable?

1. Do what we say!
>> When we say something, promised something, tell something, make sure we can do it before we put them into words. Do not talk with your mouth only! Think with your brain 1st then talk! If we can't do things, do not make any verbal promise! When we said something, we do it!
DO NOT MAKE A FOOL OUT OF OURSELVES!

2. Show in ACTION!
>> When responsibility is given, work things out more than expected! Sometimes when responsibility is given to me. I'll do my best, i won't do a lot of explanation which later lead to many conflicts, but if i were to spent too much time explaining, i'll have less time to work things towards perfection. I know it's not right, but i'm still working on it! But when responsibility is given to me, and when i accept personally that particular responsibility, i'll put my best foot forward! No doubt! If you doubt me, you have to look into yourself! You have my words!

3. Work more, talk less!
>> Many leaders that i know personally talk a lot, make things so colourful verbally, but the result ended up colourless! 'NICE'! Leaders gain respect and trust through action! People aren't blind! They can see what the leader is doing. Whether leaders gain trust or not, it depends on how they lead the team. How serious they take their responsibilities! So start producing more colourful results and talk less!

4. Keep our promises!
>> 'Once bitten twice shy'! 'Cheat me once, shame on you, Cheat me twice, shame on me'!
Friendships are build base on love and trust. Sometimes we love too much, and people have doubts... Haha... Lame.. I know.. It's humans nature... When we promise our friends or family something, make sure we fulfill our promises! Promises aren't made for fun. They are commitment. Once you wet your head, you'll have to bare all the consequences! So let me suggest if you can't fulfill your promises, don't make them at the 1st place! It's a killing tool! When we can't fulfill our promises for the 1st time, maybe it could be accident...etc. But when it comes to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th time, who else will trust us? This applies to family members too!

-The foundation of solid relationship is trust. Without trust, i could say that there's no relationship!
-Trust can only be gained, earned, and not asked for. We can't ask for trust! No one can and will give us trust!

When there's a will, there's a way!

Hope this blog will benefit most of us!

Love,
Lynn
